What you’ll do
As a (Junior) Cloud-Native Java Developer (f/m/d), you will be responsible for:
* Developing specific product features in a development team with a focus on design, coding, testing, automation, and quality assurance.
* Implementing Agile practices and methodologies in software development, such as behaviour/domain-driven development.
* Utilizing expert knowledge of cloud-native technologies, including cloud-based development with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Cloud Foundry, AWS, etc.
* Working with DevOps methodologies and tools to establish and execute a flawless development process.
* Developing microservices based components that will be deployed on the cloud through hyperscalers and the SAP cloud infrastructure.
* Applying Test Driven Development principles and a passion for unit tests, integration tests, performance tests, and test automation in general.
* Collaborating with all development process contributors, within and outside your Scrum Team including Engineering Leads, Product Managers, Architects, Project Management, Scrum Masters, Developers, User Assistance Developers, and DevOps to ensure a seamless delivery of products and services.
What you bring
* Degree from a university/academy of education (Bachelor, Diploma, Master or equivalent) in areas as information technology, computer science, mathematics, applied sciences, engineering with 2+ years of experience.
* A programming background/experience in JAVA and Java Spring Cloud Framework.
* Knowledge of cloud-native architecture and development, including microservices, event-driven, and CQRS architecture. Understanding of RESTful API development and integration.
* Basic understanding of database concepts; hands-on experience in SQL and ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate, JPA).
* Familiarity with at least one frontend framework like Angular JS/React/SAP UI5.
* Experience in Agile development practices (SCRUM), test-driven development, and domain-driven development.
* Analytical thinking with a positive work attitude focused on collaboration and communication.
* Experience of application development in the Human Experience Management (HXM) is an advantage.

You will work in a Scrum team with a diverse mix of highly motivated talents: Product Managers, Architects, Project Management, Scrum Masters, Developers, User Assistance Developers, and DevOps responsible for the implementation of the German legal regulations for payroll focused on Java, Spring, Spring-Bboot, SAP UI5, ODATA and various technologies and services offered on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to ensure a successful product delivery. Your team is located in St.Leon Rot-Germany.
