On January 1, 2025, the Berufsakademie Sachsen was transformed into the Duale Hochschule Sachsen (DHSN). This brings new opportunities for students, employees, practice partners and the entire region. As a state institution, the DHSN is firmly rooted in Saxony with its seven study academies and leads students to academic degrees in three-year practice-integrated study programs. Around 4,300 students are currently enrolled at the DHSN. They complete the academic-theoretical study sections at the state academies and the practical study sections at a recognized practice partner.
The Centre For Information Services And Digitization (ZID) At DHSN Has The Following Vacancy To Be Filled As Soon As Possible:
Head of IT Campus Management Working Group (m/f/d)
Permanent, full-time, remuneration according to TV-L pay group 12, place of work preferably Glauchau, Dresden or Riesa.
DHSN operates a central integrated software for campus management. This is the SAP industry solution Student Lifecycle Management. This is characterized by a complex integration factor and a high level of functionality, as it is used to map the core processes of DHSN. All seven DHSN study academies are connected to the system. Students, directors of studies and administrative staff in the area of teaching work with it.
Task profile
* Adaptation and further development of the system together with external IT service providers / service providers as well as creation of technical concepts for future implementations.
* Management of projects as well as central and decentralized working groups for further process optimization in the environment of this integrated software for campus management.
* Organizing and ensuring first level support for all DHSN study academies as well as designing and conducting user training courses.
* Analyzing the procedures for compliance with the IT security concept and data protection at DHSN in the context of the campus management system.
* Implementation of quality management in the campus management system and creation of topic-oriented status reports/statistics.
Recruitment requirements
* Completed relevant university degree in the field of computer science/information technology or in an IT-related course of study.
* Sound knowledge and practical experience in the SAP environment.
* Very good knowledge of German (at least level B2) and good knowledge of English.
* Competencies in the areas of project management, business process optimization and data protection.
* Advanced SAP knowledge (especially of the industry solution Student Lifecycle Management) and professional experience in a university environment are an advantage.

Place of work is preferably Glauchau, Dresden or Riesa. Other DHSN study academies may be possible as a place of work (Bautzen, Breitenbrunn, Leipzig, Plauen). Employment is on a salaried basis and is remunerated according to TV-L in pay group 12. The weekly working time is 40 hours.
