This is a remote position.
BIT - Beam Institute of Technology offers technology-related courses to adults.
We work both with companies wanting to retrain their employees, as well as with individuals who are unemployed and looking for a career change or opportunity to advance their skills.
Training that we offer to companies is tailored to the needs of the client teams and held in a format of workshops to the short-term courses.
Courses that we offer to individuals are 6-, 9- and 12-month long and lay in the domain of web engineering and machine learning. We support our students with career and job search coaching.
BIT was founded in 2022 in Berlin: we are at our fast phase of growth. Our working culture is remote-first. Currently our team members are based in the EU.
What is important for us:
* Fluent spoken and written proficiency in both German and English.
* Strong expertise in Webflow, including the ability to create responsive and dynamic websites without coding.
* Deep understanding of UX/UI design principles, including usability, accessibility, and modern design trends.
* Experience with Figma, Adobe XD, or other design tools for prototyping and interface design.
* Knowledge of front-end development basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to ensure proper collaboration with developers.
* Familiarity with CMS and design system implementation within Webflow.
* Understanding of user research methodologies, wireframing, and usability testing.
* Experience in teaching or mentoring, with excellent communication and presentation skills to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.
Requirements
* Teaching the Webflow & UX/UI Design module as part of the design course.
* Conducting lessons in German, in groups of 10-20 students.
* Lesson schedule: from 9:30 to 12:45/14:30 CET.
* Evaluating student work, including testing, grading, and homework review.
* Participating in school activities (masterclasses, open lessons, etc.).
* Keeping the course content up to date together with the educational department.

Requirements
Responsibilities Teaching the Python and SQL module as a part of the “Data Analytics” course, schedule: from 9:30 to 12:45/14:30 (CET timezone).
