About the role
Are you a creative and dynamic communications professional with a flair for digital communications and marketing? In this role, you will find new ways to maximise our channels to connect with the diverse Merri-bek community creatively. You will be able to apply creative approaches to our digital and social media channels to ensure we take targeted, evidence-based approaches to our communications and marketing.
This role reports to the Digital and Design Coordinator and plays a crucial part in a highly professional and agile communications team.
Skills and experience required to perform the role
* Tertiary qualification in communications, journalism, public relations or a related discipline with some communications and publications experience; or a lesser qualification with substantial relevant experience in the field of communications.
* Demonstrated ability to create content across multiple channels including print, social media and web.
* Demonstrate experience in managing content management systems and implementing a web governance framework.
* Ability to work with diverse internal stakeholders and provide training and support for digital channels.
* Experience in delivering and measuring effective and engaging digital campaigns using various channels.
