To keep our operations network secure and assure operational continuity, we are looking for an experienced professional who wants to join our Physical Security (PhySec) Maintenance and Sustainability team as Program Manager. In this key role, you will own difficult projects and programs that manage end- to-end physical security across Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Key job responsibilities - Drive operational physical security preventative and corrective maintenance projects and programs across EMEA - Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders (e.g., field security and loss prevention, operations, IT) and external VARs to achieve your project/program goals - Ensure physical security and regulatory compliance of all programs being built - Ensure all programs are consistently improving on cost effectiveness - Act as sustainability champion for your team and region A day in the life As a Program Manager in the PhySec Maintenance and Sustainability team, you'll contribute to the Security&LP efforts by overseeing the preventive and corrective maintenance of physical security systems across various business units, excluding corporate offices and third-party sites. Your role involves executing operational, cost-effective projects that enhance preventive measures, intervention capabilities, and incident investigation, reducing losses and mitigating risks. Ensuring compliance with physical security and regulatory standards, you'll collaborate with value-added resellers, manage schedules, drive project deliverables. Additionally, you'll champion sustainability within your team and region, actively promoting initiatives like value engineering, standards updates, task automation,and cross-team support within PhySec. About the team Security&LP ensures end-to-end security in the Amazon supply chain. The PhySec team, a part of Security&LP, achieves this by overseeing physical security maintenance and implementing compliant security systems across most EMEA business units. This involves managing equipment and installation costs, engaging external partners for system installation, ensuring adherence to installation guidelines, and reviewing ad-hoc installation requests. Projects aim to enhance, standardize, and create sustainable security designs in line with local laws and Amazon standards. We optimize EMEA security infrastructure to enhance Security&LP performance, supporting business initiatives, and adopting a scalable approach to navigate the dynamic business landscape. Basic Qualifications - Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.) - Experience in program or project management - Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams - Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics - Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements Preferred Qualifications - Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership - Experience leading process improvements - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization - Experience building processes, project management, and schedules - Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
