Global P&C is a Group Centre of Allianz SE based in Munich. Mandated to drive P&C profit enhancement globally, Global P&C supports operating entities to develop a competitive advantage in their markets, to create a self-sustaining culture of improvement within the Allianz Group, to foster P&C talent development, and to enhance Technical Excellence (TEX) in P&C. We are recruiting a Global Business Owner for Governance Solutions. In this role, you will lead the strategic initiative to migrate our governance assessment and referral processes to a new technology platform. Collaborating closely with colleagues across Allianz SE Group, and our operating entities, you will assume full ownership of this critical project. As the primary point of contact and decision-maker for all related activities, you will have the opportunity to drive strategic change and enhance our governance processes, ensuring they align with our organizational goals and operational excellence.
How can you make an impact?
From day one, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our governance processes by enhancing efficiency, improving user experience, and simplifying process management. As the Business Owner, you will lead efforts to streamline referral processes and provide seamless user support, while designing and evolving our tool independently of the central IT department. You will oversee the testing and handover of SharePoint functionalities, gather requirements, and customize questionnaires for areas such as Sustainability, Claims Technical Excellence, and Underwriting Referrals. Additionally, you will create user guides and conduct training sessions to ensure a smooth transition for end users.
As the project progresses, you will design and implement assessments using Power Automate, develop reporting functionalities in Power BI, and integrate the AI ChatBot. You will also scale the solution to additional areas, ensuring broad organizational impact.
Collaboration in an international environment will be key as you engage with cross-functional teams and align project objectives with broader business goals. Communication will be a cornerstone of your role, as you provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders, fostering transparency and informed decision-making. Your proactive approach to risk management will be vital in identifying potential challenges and implementing effective mitigation strategies for the project. Additionally, you will manage the allocated budget, optimize value add, and establish and monitor key performance indicators. Your technical expertise and vision will be instrumental in guiding our governance solution to success, creating a lasting impact on our organization’s future.
What are you made of?
Minimum Qualifications:
* Excellent analytical skills to assess and refine governance processes, with a keen attention to detail
* Strong communication skills with capability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences and confidence to interact with senior management
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive strategic initiatives and manage projects independently
* Proficiency in using Microsoft SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power BI, with experience in integrating AI solutions like ChatBots
* Understanding of governance processes and regulatory frameworks
* Proven experience in managing projects and budgets
* Excellent English language skills; additional language a plus
* Master degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
* University degree in information technology, computer science, data science or analytics, operations management, industrial engineering or economics
