Outside Sales Manager (f/m/d)
As the Outside Sales Manager in Frankfurt, Hamburg or Hilden, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth, primarily through acquiring new clients and nurturing existing relationships. You will play a key role in representing Rhenus Air & Ocean, understanding customer needs, and providing tailored logistics solutions that meet their business objectives. Our vision is to understand our customers like no other and challenge ourselves to improve every single day to make logistics simple.
What you can expect
1. You will develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence in Germany.
2. Additionally, you will identify and target potential clients within the logistics and supply chain sectors, using market research to tailor solutions.
3. In your role, you will build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by providing excellent service and act as the primary point of contact for key accounts.
4. You will prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients. As well as conduct contract negotiations, securing favorable terms for both the company and the customer.
5. Your responsibilities will include monitoring market trends, providing regular sales forecasts and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and customer satisfaction.
What you bring
6. You have a minimum of five years experience in outside sales, preferably within global forwarding.
7. Naturally, you bring excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
8. Ideally, you have a deep understanding of the logistics and transportation market in Germany, including key players, trends, and regulations.
9. You are business fluent in English and have proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
10. With your strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, you can focus on identifying client needs and providing tailored solution while working independently with a high level of initiative and drive.
