Marketing & Sales Manager - Smart Building / Smart Power - Germany
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead marketing and sales activities related to products, systems, and services within the defined industry segments, for the assigned area. Each day, you will ensure that the division and related sales units substantially improve their sales, margins, market share, and customer satisfaction in the selected market segments. You will also showcase your expertise by developing and implementing a market-based strategy including direct, third party, and project sales and enhancing cross-division and cross-region business-led collaborations for the specific market segment.
The work model for the role is: hybrid
This role is contributing to the Smart building/Smart Power – Electrification.
You will be mainly accountable for:
1. Leading the segment team members and reinforcing global sales efficiency and performance.
2. Building relationships with key external influencers/key customers and leveraging ABB’s strengths to capture new business opportunities.
3. Driving and ensuring knowledge sharing and cross-division and cross-country collaborations.
4. Activating operation intelligence, benchmarking, and analysis to identify segment trends in commercial and industrial areas, practices, product gaps, competitor strategy, etc.
Qualifications for the role
* You are engaged in working with relevant tools and methodologies.
* Ability to demonstrate your experience in commercial and industrial projects.
* Possess an enhanced knowledge of Quality Assurance & Excellence.
* Degree in industrial engineering and management.
* You are at ease communicating in English and German.
