Your mission
* Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations and staying up-to-date with all applicable laws and regulations that govern the operations of the company.
* Designing, developing and implementing compliance Management System and compliance programs. This involves creating policies and procedures that outline the company's commitment to compliance and providing training to employees on these policies.
* Conducting internal audits and risk assessments to identify any potential compliance issues or weaknesses in the company's systems and processes.
* Monitoring and reporting the company's operations to ensure compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies.
* Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to compliance activities.
* Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders such as Managing Directors, Legal, Finance, and HR departments, to ensure a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
It is important to mention, that the Compliance Officer role is “new” to the IONITY organization. This provides the unique opportunity, to initially establish this function to the benefit of the Company from the beginning.
Overall, the compliance officer plays a crucial role in ensuring that IONITY operates ethically, in accordance with the law, and in a manner that protects the company's reputation and minimizes legal and financial risks.
Your profile
* You have a degree in a relevant field such as such as law, business administration, finance, or a related discipline preferred with a strong foundation of knowledge in areas such as legal and regulatory compliance, risk management, and business ethics
* You have several years (5+) of working experience specifically in compliance roles, preferably in an international company environment. This experience should cover a broad range of compliance areas, such as regulatory compliance, anti-money laundering, data privacy, and ethics.
* You have a deep understanding of the German/European regulatory environment, including knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry-specific compliance requirements.
* You have a track record of successfully developing and implementing compliance programs within organizations. This includes creating policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and delivering training programs.
* You have a track record on managing improvement measures, organizing “Compliance meetings and reports, as well as tracking/Taking notes for transparency and organizational reasons.
* You have an independent, analytical, structured and precise way of working style.
* You are a committed team player with quick comprehension skills and interest in regulatory topics.
* You have a degree of self-motivation, follow proactive approach, analytical thinking, confident demeanour and assertiveness.
* Excellent capability of expression, both verbally and in writing, speak business fluent English.
