Job description
A variety of tasks are waiting for you, amongst others:
•Implementing regional sales strategies and optimizing sales performance in line with global strategies and policies of GEODIS,
•Driving Sales Blueprint by channel within the countries of the Region,
•Driving the sales performance to achieve growth targets by monitoring critical success factors, key metrics and KPI's,
•Maintaining sales excellence in the countries of the Region - measuring and managing key elements of the Sales Blueprint and ensuring action plans and remedies are implemented as well as executed in case of deviations,
•Conducting People Reviews to assess performance including regular meetings with National Sales Managers to assess and manage performance per country,
•Ensuring and continuously improving sales performance and increasing the profitability and efficiency of Sales in the Region,
•Tracking sales goals and presenting monthly sales results to management,
•Supporting the Regional Management through expertise to facilitate informed decision-making,
•Monitoring and maintaining CRM tool and perform analysis on the effectiveness and efficiency of sales operations and processes,
•Supporting the budget process for the Business Development within the Region,
•Monitoring and participating in the budget achievement and forecasting processes,
•Devising and implementing new business initiatives and monitoring their effectiveness,
•Interacting with key stakeholders in the Region to capture and share best practices and continuously developing the sales process and blueprint,
•Developing sales qualification measures i.e. training, coaching to enable higher efficiency and productivity,
•Working with Regional Marketing Team to build “go to market approach” per sales channel, as well as conducting lead campaigns,
•Searching for new markets and using the data to forecast sales, keeping informed of all respective sales trends and developments, and contributing to build a strong employer brand,
•Consolidating information regarding the business and competitors within the Region,
•Supporting Sales Teams in the Region by providing information and training on global and regional offerings of GEODIS.
