The Australian Epilepsy Project (AEP) is a Multi-year study and platform for Brain Health and research translation helping people with Epilepsy across Australia. About the role: This role is responsible for completing the necessary screening, recruitment procedures, along with data captures with the participants via telephone/videoconference interviews, review participant questionnaires, and diaries throughout the 24mth study period. The CTA would hold the relationship with the participant during the follow up period and in doing so, support participant retention in the study. The CTA is also responsible for maintaining the study database. As part of the AEP Central team, the CTA will assist in the accurate implementation of the protocol to ensure complete data sets are acquired for each participant. This role will assist in building rapport with clinicians and project scanning sites for an optimal experience for the participant in the study. The candidate will be responsible for: Coordinate participant referrals including: initial contact Consenting process MRI booking and safety Distribution of participant completed questionnaires and diaries Liaise with external healthcare providers to acquire confidential medical records Contact recruited participants to complete the baseline medical interviews and review participant questionnaires Enter participant data in the AEP REDcap database Maintain contact with participants throughout the project in order to complete follow up medical interviews, reviewing questionnaires and participant diaries. Assist with sample collection, shipping and receipt Detailed information and key responsibilities are available from the Position Description. This position is a fixed term, full-time role. Flexible work arrangements will be considered. The role attracts an annual salary offer ranging from Professional Staff 5-1 (PS 5-1) $75,139 to Professional Staff 5-8 (PS 5-8) $86,313, commensurate with experience.
