Role: Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) Security Operations (SecOps) Start Date: ASAP Duration: 12 Months (possibility of extension, after initial contract) Contract: Freelance (no permanent/ no Visa/ No sponsorship can be offered) Workload: Full Time (5 Days Per Week) Location: Munich, Germany Language: English (Written and Spoken) German (Advantage) Education and Knowledge Requirements SecOps includes the following features: Logging : Correlates GDC platform logging for security analysis and response Vulnerability identification : Promptly identifies, reports, and tracks security vulnerabilities Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) : Defends all OIC and GDC assets Continuous monitoring : Provides tooling, processes, and runbooks to enable continuous monitoring for cybersecurity incidents GDC also has a number of other security features, including: Zero Trust : A multi-layered defense-in-depth architecture that includes multi-factor authentication, least privilege access, and continuous authentication Device security : Includes hardware qualifications, rogue asset detection, and endpoint protection Data encryption : Uses encryption in transit to make data unreadable while in transit Network security : Uses a boundary proxy and bastion host to audit and control traffic If your experience suits this role and are interested in discussing it further, then please apply/ send your updated CV to abizgaredglobal.com
