Your role
* They drive the development and implementation of knowledge models that significantly improve the use of information in the areas of knowledge organization, data exchange and the support of artificial intelligence
* Oversee and manage the development, maintenance, and orchestration of knowledge delivery goals for efficient content creation and delivery
* Design of a strategic knowledge management architecture in collaboration with the Lead Architect of Knowledge Systems that spans different departments and supports the digital transformation within the ZEISS Microscopy service organization
* Selecting and overseeing service providers who develop and support ontologies, knowledge graphs, and other components of the technology
* Advising cross-functional teams involved in strategic digital transformation initiatives on the development of ontologies
Your profile
* a university degree in library science, linguistics, knowledge management, or a related field
* You have in-depth methodological knowledge in ontology modelling as well as experience in conceptually creating, maintaining and distributing knowledge graphs between internal and external interfaces and information sources
* Familiarity with machine-processable languages (e.g., RDF), principles and standards for linked data, and OWL-based ontology modeling in common tools
* Experience in data engineering and the use of standard query languages (SQL, SPARQL), as well as the ability to extract information using natural language processing and generative AI
* They are able to quickly understand complex concepts and convey them in simple language
* You have a comprehensive understanding of the digital economy and data-driven business models
* a high degree of self-management, communication skills, willingness to learn and the ability to work in a team round off your profile
* Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
