As part of this effort, we seek a versatile individual to define the requirements for Agilent’s next steps towards integration and automation of the lab. Seamless integration of hard- and software is essential for enabling error-free, low touch interoperability in the lab of the future. Your responsibilities: Develop a detailed understanding of customer needs and workflows as well as proficiency in solutions for fully automated and autonomous end-to-end workflows Draft and maintain detailed business cases to support investment and prioritizations Nurture deep connections with market leading customers and sales to understand evolving trends and market realities within your focus area. Partner with cobot and orchestration software providers. Work across divisions and hands on with the Waldbronn Co-Creation Lab (CCL) to develop demo-ready proof of concept solutions Represent customers (both internal and external) in prioritization discussions Represent collaborators (both internal and external) in technical requirement discussions Collaborate with Product Managers and Product Owners to understand product requirements (use cases, features, business and technical domain rules, and overall product goals) and to communicate development risks in order to prioritize implementations in a collaborative environment Maintain subject matter expertise with a deep understanding of the technical details within your focus area. Qualifications This role will benefit from a hybrid background in the sciences and software development.
