For our location in Düsseldorf we are looking for a Vice President, Sales & Marketing, BU Mobile Harbor Cranes.
Responsibilities:
* Leading and motivating a high-performing sales and marketing team of 15 to achieve common goals as well as managing and reviewing all sales and marketing activities
* Develop and implement sales strategies and roadmaps that align with long-term strategic goals to meet the order intake targets of BU Mobile Harbor Cranes
* Pro-actively build and develop long-term relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders with the customers
* Actively seek and identify new business opportunities to acquire new customers
* Acquire new prospects & opportunities, control customer relationships according to agreed guidelines, to cross promote, offer and close contracts successfully
* Take a strategic selling approach, including customer segmentation, stakeholder mapping and ensure robust planning
* Ensure solid project management of sales cases which are becoming increasingly more complex and strategic requiring alignment with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally
* Identify and manage potential risks relating to the customer contracts and align with contract management team
* Provide input and gather market intelligence, follow industry trends and global developments impacting our customers
* Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Konecranes full portfolio of products, solutions and services
Qualifications:
* 10+ years experience in technical sales, including driving large tenders in the Ports industry and negotiating at executive level
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
* Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
* Fluency in English, German desirable
* Strategic thinker and keen interest in global developments and trends
* Willingness to travel worldwide
