Your responsibilities: Provision of Support to GBV Survivors: Identify and ensure GBV survivors receive appropriate support, adhering to Malteser International and donor standards and guidelines Capacity Building and Supervision: Manage and provide training, technical support, and capacity building for the case management team to maintain high service delivery standards Documentation and Reporting: Document GBV cases systematically, maintain a secure filing system, and contribute to internal and external donor reporting Protection Monitoring: Oversee protection monitoring activities, analyze protection trends, and produce regular reports with technical input and visuals for decision-making Data Protection and Policies Compliance: Ensure adherence to data protection policies and case conferencing protocols, leveraging appropriate tools and platforms Coordination and Liaison: Engage with target communities, local authorities, and stakeholders to ensure effective case management, protection referrals, and inter-agency coordination Representation and Stakeholder Engagement: Represent Malteser International at relevant forums such as GBV Working Groups and NGO meetings, facilitating partnerships and advocacy for the protection program Your profile: University Degree in Social Sciences or related field with minimum of 3 years relevant professional experience in Protection sector (including at least one year in a supervisory role) Strong technical knowledge in general protection and GBV programming (i.e., protection monitoring, case management, psychosocial support activities) Strong report writing, planning and organizational skills with commitment to accuracy and attention to detail, logical and flexible approach to solving problems and ability to cope with competing priorities Good IT standard skills including proficiency in using MS Office, especially Excel spreadsheets Ability to manage teams, initiate and organize work with ability to establish priorities in a time-sensitive environment and meet deadlines Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment while maintaining an individual workload Knowledge of beneficiary languages (Hausa and Kanuri) is necessary What we offer: Start Date: As soon as possible Duty Station: Maiduguri, Jere and Konduga Salary expectation: According to qualification and experience Group Life Insurance Package, Health Insurance Package, 13th Month bonus, and other benefits like monthly call card and beverages Working for Malteser International Malteser is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from all people, regardless of gender, confession or origin.
