Your duties will encompass a broad spectrum of tasks primarily focusing on developing the end user customer base for SMART. Some of the specific duties will include:
1. Focus on business development and acquisition into key Education customers as well as planning the engagement across the whole sector including how to engage at scale with the diverse Education Departments and Establishments in Central Eastern Europe (CEE).
2. Build and maintain sustainable relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders in the Education Sector.
3. Create and execute Business plans, maximising SMART’s positioning and sales successes.
4. Sell the entire SMART Education product portfolio and have the full support of the Technical and Marketing teams.
5. Have the experience, credibility and gravitas to operate at very senior levels within complex customer organisations and operate in political environments with multiple decision makers and sensitive public messages.
6. Presenting SMART education solutions to decision makers and executives within education customers
7. Working with SMART's marketing and product management teams in Calgary, Canada to align selling efforts and market conditions
8. Develop programs to drive the creation of local content available for Lumio (i.e. content creation seminars, lesson of the week, publishers)
9. Drive the SMART Certified Trainer Program and certified trainers to make training available in the entire region and to have SMART training compliant and certified for teacher revalidation
10. Planning and executing strategies to increase education solutions sales
11. Identifying potential alliances that may bolster SMART's presence in the education markets
12. Providing support at local and regional trade shows, seminars, conferences and customer events
13. Identifying third-party solutions that complement SMART education solutions
14. Providing timely, high-quality sales activity reports
15. Performing other duties as required
Skills Required:
16. Outstanding interpersonal skills
17. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
18. Must be a self-starter with technology and have the ability to learn new skills independently
19. Ability to work in a cross functional, multi-national team environment
20. A strong working knowledge of SMART’s products and software and the ability to learn new SMART solutions as they are introduced is required
21. Ability to present in front of large groups with the confidence and knowledge of both hardware and software as presentation tools
22. Ability to self-motivate
23. Good time-management, record-keeping and planning skills
Education and work experience
24. Ideally hold a degree in business, education, or a related field
25. Experience working with Educators
26. Proven aptitude for developing relationships with key decision makers
27. Strong ability to analyze and solve problems
28. Preferably, experience with SMART products
29. A valid passport, or no impediment to obtaining one, and a valid driver license
