The Robert Bosch GmbH is looking forward to your application Job Description You will work towards a PhD degree as part of the MSCA Doctoral Network "6th Sense" funded by the European Union (https://dn6sense.eu/) You will be closely integrated in a European network of other doctoral candidates and organizations working on related topics The PhD degree will be granted by TU Darmstadt, Germany, with planned secondments / research visits at TU Darmstadt and TU Delft Development and evaluation of new concepts and algorithms related to integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) in 6G Focus on multi-modal sensor fusion of ISAC-based sensing with other sensor modalities (e.g., cameras, automotive radars) for improved object detection & perception Exploitation of additional context information (e.g., maps, weather conditions, etc.) to further improve sensor fusion Development and implementation of a suitable simulation environment for analyzing and optimizing corresponding approaches Contribution to related proof-of-concept realizations and evaluations Qualifications Education: Excellent M.Sc. degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar Experience and Knowledge: Previous experience with cellular communications and/or radar is a plus, Solid software development skills and ideally experience with physical layer simulations, Not resided or carried out your main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Germany for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately before their recruitment date Work Routine: You will be closely integrated in a European network of other doctoral candidates and organizations working on related topics Enthusiasm : Team player who enjoys working in an international environment Languages : Excellent English communication skills Additional Information The final PhD topic is subject to your university.
