ACS / Workstations– Senior Business Development Manager – Channel Germany Description - Job Summary This newly created Business Development Management role in the German channel organization is responsible to develop, expand and grow the ACS / Workstation business with the German Amplify Partner base. Based on that, the person would need to define strategic business initiatives for the workstation business and successfully execute these. The initial team will consist of two individuals – both purely focused on ACS/workstations. The senior BDM will focus on the development and the definition of the relevant initiatives, while the junior BDM will focus on community management. The BDM will not be responsible for typical Partner Business Manager (PBM) activities. Responsibilities Define growth initiatives for workstation business in German channel environment. Search for new opportunities to grow workstations business. Successfully execute and measure these activities. Hunt new workstations/OEM partners. Partner with PBM on important workstation partners and increase share of business. Manage local workstation partner community – regular roundtables, align initiatives, etc. Create workstation business plans for key workstations partners. Build strong relationship with existing and new workstation partners. Act as workstation subject matter expert and enable/ support/ partner with PBMs Support large workstation deals. Build vertical and product knowledge in ACS environment. Support OEM business development. Build, develop and execute workstation related MDF activities in alignment with Workstation Channel Enablement teams. Education & Experience Recommended Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in enterprise selling, channel & alliance, or a related field. Thorough understanding/expertise of workstation business is a must Previous experience in management of channel partners, working with channel partners or related functions preferred.
