BUSINESS UNIT
Join our dynamic and innovative People Solutions Team, encompassing People as well as Workplace Management, where skilled professionals across locations work in interdisciplinary teams dedicated to fostering a modern workplace and elevating organizational capabilities globally. Our focus is on applying SaaS industry standards to our employee programs. Based at our headquarters in Cologne, Germany, we drive initiatives that empower our teams to excel in their roles and beyond.
POSITION
With our recent shift from a traditional HR functional to a product-centric design, we have aligned and dedicated different HR functions with major business functions, such as Tech & Sales, for better responsiveness and strategic cohesion in our tech-driven environment. We are looking for a Germany/EU-based Business Partner (all genders) for our Domain Expertise Team Tech, who acts as a consultant and sparring partner for HR and the business unit/tech functions, translating strategic objectives into HR initiatives. Your mission is to elevate performance levels and further develop our colleagues.
How success looks like: Within 18 months, you will have notably advanced our Producthouse Transformation, achieving heightened performance in productivity and enhanced engagement in leadership roles. The result will be a significant boost in global team performance and productivity, with an emphasis on effective people management and coaching strategies.
CHALLENGE
* Collaborate proactively with the global business unit leadership team on all HR aspects and enhance KPI-driven exchanges to identify improvement areas.
* Review and develop organizational structures to build a leading people organization, driving business performance.
* Lead and manage change initiatives to improve business processes and employee engagement.
* Act as a consultant to the business unit, providing insights and solutions.
* Apply business acumen to translate strategic objectives into actionable HR initiatives.
* Lead and manage potential conflict cases and labor law-related actions, ensuring effective cooperation with the German works council.
* Work closely with all People Solution functions to ensure state-of-the-art HR standards and services, providing an inspiring employee experience.
* Support building out cultural connections with growing development hubs in India and Vietnam.
* Support leaders to achieve high performance management among their people, including smart replacements.
* Establish a competency framework aligning with future business needs (automation, AI, platforming, tech performance management, data-driven product development, working backwards mindset).
FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...
* A successfully completed university degree, preferably in the field of business administration and/or Human Resources Management.
* Multiple years (>5 years) of working experience as an HR business partner in SaaS/Technology Companies.
* Familiarity with dynamic tech solution work environments and agile working methods.
* Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* A focus on fast and flawless execution.
* Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
* Capability to manage potential conflict cases and labor law-related actions.
