What's the role?
HERE Technologies is looking for a Principle Technical Support Engineer - Technical Project Manager, responsible for the successful delivery, adoption, and ongoing engagement of HERE’s technology solutions to customers and ensuring these solutions continue to be successful for the customer over time. You’ll oversee day-to-day customer relationships as well as actively participate in retaining and growing those relationships.
The role will focus on key and strategic accounts in Automotive, utilizing HERE products and services.
1. Collaborate with stakeholders and manage cross-functionally to drive complex, strategic and large-scale customer engagements (large Automotive OEM) and ensure successful customer delivery (product launches, projects,
2. Orchestrate deliveries all along the engagement life cycle through the definition and execution of the necessary release management and quality assurance activities including but not limited to error and release management
3. Address issues in a systematic approach coordinating across teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on criticality with a “single source of truth”, timely executive visibility and reporting, have lessons learned built into actionable follow-up plans
4. Work on technical consulting assignments for/with the customer
5. Work with sales to complete RFQs and translating customer needs into requirements, products, and solutions
6. Provide direct technical expertise for opportunities in one or multiple domains of knowledge
7. Acts as the main technical customer interface and ensure customer requirements are understood across internal divisions
8. Provide feedback to Sales, Product Marketing, and Product Management on current and future product requirements (acts as the voice of the Customer)
9. Travel up to 25%, both domestic and international, to meet customers and suppliers as needed and frequvent client visits to our major OEM at the South of Germany
Who are you?
This role requires a high level of expertise in proactive technical support and technical project management, technical expertise, leadership and commercial awareness, along with most of the following:
• A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• 9+ years of relevant technical experience of which 2+ years in technical project management, technical customer support, technical consulting or similar customer facing roles
• Hands-on experience on SW development and troubleshooting issues reported by our Customers.
• Strong project management skills involving large cross-functional teams. PMI PMP certification (or equivalent) is a plus.
• Excellent consultative, advisory, organizational skills with an aptitude for proactive technical support and problem-solving
• A strong sense of ownership of the customer account & ensure a trusted partnership is established with the customer.
• Sound understanding of Automotive infotainment, ADAS, in-vehicle and cloud solutions
• Excellent leadership & communication skills, with ability to influence people outside of one’s own managerial matrix and a track record of solid cross-functional stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• German language is a plus.
