Translation Management Specialist (f/m/x)
The position is limited until 30.11.2025 in the context of a maternity leave
Your responsibilities
1. Ensure the timely translation of the Instructions for Use for our products by planning, coordinating and monitoring the translation process in cooperation with translation agencies and proofreaders within the EMEA region
2. Develop and perform technical quality checks (quality assurance) of translated documents to meet the highest quality standards
3. Optimise the use of CAT tools in translation workflows
4. Collaborate closely with colleagues within Regulatory Affairs, Product Management and Marketing departments at Sysmex Europe as well as with the Sysmex Corporation in Japan
5. Establish terminology resources for medical device translations
Your profile
6. Minimum 3 years of professional experience as project manager (f/m/d) for technical translations or technical documentation, preferably in the medical technical field
7. Experience working at translation agency beneficial
8. Profound knowledge of SDL Trados Studio and QA tools such as XBench
9. Experience in terminology management
10. Experience with DTP applications (e.g. FrameMaker) is a plus
11. Excellent command of written and spoken English, knowledge of German and/or another language is beneficial
12. Highly accurate work style and strong quality focus
13. Excellent project management skills
14. Good interpersonal skills and the enthusiasm to work in a multidisciplinary and multinational team
