In this mindset, Total Rewards Germany is responsible for designing and executing compensation and benefits services and solutions that support the attraction and retention of the right Talent and embody SAP’s pay for performance philosophy to help to drive desired behaviors and outcomes to achieve our business growth strategy.
The position within the Total Rewards Team positions you as the Face of Total Rewards, with a focus on all relevant TR topics in Germany. As a thought leader, the TR Partner supports, drives, and executes all efforts and activities involved in the scoping, design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of innovative and tailored Total Reward business solutions in Germany. With a strong emphasis on local market expertise, this role requires close and successful collaboration not only with the HR Community and senior business leaders but also with respective social partners (WoC) in Germany. Additionally, the TR Partner will play a crucial role in the roll-out of global programs, ensuring alignment with local needs and practices. This position reports directly to the Head of Total Rewards Germany.

What you’ll do:
1. Evaluate and Implement Best Practices: Identify and implement industry best practices to support workforce-specific Total Reward strategies. Develop solutions that align with business requirements in close collaboration with business representatives and, when necessary, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) community.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the TR communities across EMEA, MEE, and globally, as well as internal teams such as Finance and other HR departments, to ensure cohesive and integrated strategies.
3. Effective Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including senior business leaders and workers' councils, ensuring effective communication and alignment of objectives.
4. Total Rewards Program Support: Provide support for Total Rewards programs, ensuring compliance and equity across local geographies while maintaining alignment with global strategies.
5. Lead Negotiations and Drive Alignment: Conduct negotiations with social partners of SAP entities, and coordinate with stakeholders to implement agreed-upon outcomes.
6. Project Ownership and Execution: Take charge of local projects, contributing to the development of SAP’s standards, policies, and procedures in the Compensation and Benefits portfolio.
7. Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Enhance the effectiveness and quality of TR services and processes, ensuring that local practices align with global and regional standards.
What you bring:
1. Education and Professional Experience: A higher education degree (Bachelor/Master in Business Administration or similar) with a proven track record of successfully closed projects, demonstrating the seniority and credibility to act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders and social partners/works councils.
2. Compensation and Rewards Expertise: Good understanding of base and variable pay, long-term incentives, and recognition programs, with in-depth knowledge of market pay practices and compensation trends, especially in the technology industry.
3. Analytical and Solution Design Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in compensation data analysis and modeling, and advanced Excel capabilities for effective data handling and solution design.
4. Communication and Negotiation: Fluent in German and English (written and spoken), with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
5. Teamwork and Customer Focus: Naturally a team player with a strong customer focus and a positive, constructive attitude, comfortable working in an international and virtual organization.
6. Technical and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Preferably possesses in-depth knowledge of SAP HCM solutions, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
7. >5 Years of Experience: Proven experience in HR or Total Rewards, demonstrating expertise in the field.
8. Exceptional Customer Service Orientation: Demonstrates a strong commitment to providing excellent service and fostering positive experiences for clients and stakeholders.
9. Global and Virtual Environment Proficiency: Experienced in working within and managing global, virtual environments, effectively navigating diverse teams and cultural contexts.
10. Multi-Project Management: Skilled in supporting and managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective execution.
11. Adaptability in a Global Context: Highly flexible and adaptable, able to thrive in a dynamic global environment.
