We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Dealer Development to lead the transformation of our dealer landscape. Although positioned within the Farm Technologies Division, this role is uniquely tasked with supporting country-managed dealer networks—driving professionalism, scale, and strategic alignment across diverse markets. A central objective: to significantly consolidate our current dealer base through methods such as M&A advisory, joint ventures, cooperation agreements, and other creative partnership models—ideally keeping such activities external to GEA. Most of our dealers are independent third parties of varying maturity and scale, and your mission is to shape a leaner, stronger, and more capable partner network. Responsibilities / Tasks Develop and execute a comprehensive dealer development and consolidation strategy aligned with divisional and regional objectives Identify and assess dealers with potential for growth, acquisition, merger, or partnership opportunities Collaborate closely with country organizations to support local execution of consolidation efforts Lead negotiations with external partners to establish sustainable and scalable cooperation agreements Support operational aspects of dealer steering in close coordination with Regions and Countries Participate in budgeting discussions alongside dealers, country teams, and regional stakeholders Design and implement frameworks for dealer performance evaluation, benchmarking, and professionalization Maintain close alignment with GEA’s strategic sales, legal, and finance functions Lead and develop a small, agile team with a strong culture of collaboration and impact Take full accountability for the implementation and success of dealer development initiatives Regularly report progress, risks, and opportunities to division leadership Your Profile / Qualifications Proven experience in dealer/channel development, corporate development, or strategic partnerships—ideally in an industrial or agricultural setting Prior leadership experience preferred Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability Strong grasp of M&A principles, joint ventures, and partnership structuring Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience with digitalization, automation, or the application of Artificial Intelligence in a commercial or operational context Experience working within matrix organizations and cross-functional environments Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, especially across cultures and hierarchies Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally as required by the role Fluent in English; additional languages a plus What We Offer: A high-impact leadership role with global visibility Open and trust-based culture The opportunity to shape the future of a critical business area Supportive, innovative colleagues across divisions and countries.
