Your job:
* Responsibility for optimizing and adapting the global customer order processing process from the customer inquiry to production order processing to the complete handover of the ordered goods to the customer, with a focus on configurable products
* Recognizing potential for improvement in processes and introducing new tools and processes in close coordination with the department
* Controlling, coordinating and evaluating requirements for process or IT changes from the specialist departments and coordinating the optimal processes, taking into account the entire process chain and defining the detailed processes with IT
* Coordinating and supporting IT rollouts and participating in the evaluation and prioritization as part of the implementation of optimization projects
* Representing the supply chain at the interface between Product Development / Product Life Cycle Process and Operations
* Design and continuous improvement of processes and functions in cooperation with the respective specialist departments at global and local level
* Development and implementation of new configuration concepts
* Evaluation and technical detailing of new requirements and management of implementation
* Providing second-level support to the global production sites in the event of problems in the order fulfillment process with configurable materials
* Responsibility and coordination of projects in the international supply chain environment
* Worldwide training and support of key users
Your qualifications:
* Successfully completed studies in business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable degree program
* Several years of professional experience in supply chain management
* Several years of experience in the implementation of logistics and IT projects
* Overall understanding of the interdependencies in supply chains and knowledge of process management
* Good skills in the design and optimization of supply chain processes
* Good SAP knowledge in the PP, SD and MM modules as well as good knowledge of MS Office
* Experience with SAP LO-VC and AVC as well as other configuration tools such as camos
* Business fluent in German and English
* Holistic thinking and acting, high level of initiative
* Very good analytical and conceptual skills and an affinity for IT
* Very good training, moderation and presentation experience
* High level of customer orientation, ability to work in a team and problem-solving skills
* Willingness to travel internationally and intercultural competence
