What you can expect:
11. As Global Sales Director, you will be responsible for meeting and exceeding annual sales targets Globally, but with initial focus on Europe and Asia.
12. To achieve these goals, you will develop the sales strategy, tactics and plans.
13. You will be responsible for the identification of growth opportunities.
14. You will set sales targets by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories. You will also forecast expected sales volumes and profits for existing and new products.
15. As a senior manager, you will be responsible for sales managers based in China, South Korea, Malaysia and Europe.
16. You will be expected to develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with strategic accounts.
17. Partnering with customers (OEM's, EU's and System Integrators) to understand their business needs and objectives. Working with the BU team to give market and customer feedback on SmartRay's product offering.
18. Report on factors affecting local markets. Monitor changing trends, economic indicators, competitors and supply and demand.
What to bring:
19. Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets in automation/vision (product) business
20. Proven experience as a Senior Sales Manager or Sales Director in Asia in automation/vision (product) business
21. Ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels of the organization, including the Executive Board and the C-Level
22. Excellent written and spoken German and English (other Asian languages preferred)
23. Flexibility to travel to Asia and within Europe on a regular basis
