Description Job Description: Actively participate in the strategic procurement activities for Commercial Parts subcategory in the Cluster. Build transparency of subcategory spend in the Cluster and drive cost reduction. Work closely with internal customers and logistics people in sites to ensure effective strategic procurement and business continuity. Work closely with Lead Buyers and logistics people in conducting research on supply markets, price benchmarks, and supplier profiles. Execute supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting for the mills/sites. Develop and maintain supplier profiles: Manage Supplier relationship and monitor contract compliance. Deliver savings and subcategory KPI targets and assist Lead Buyer with necessary analyses: Spend data analysis and basic financial analyses, Performance reporting Category strategy development (ex: supply market research, price benchmarks), Supplier profile maintenance. Effective negotiating. Achieve effective procurement and business continuity by cooperation with internal customers across sites. Participate in transversal working groups and projects. Profile: Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent. English and German language. Any additional European language is a plus. You have a mechanical/technical background. You have problem-solving, analytical skills and good ease facing numbers. You have a good technical knowledge of contracts and targeted systems but also in project management and negotiation. You demonstrate leadership and communication skills. You have an appetite for finding information about innovative industry and for market analysis. Knowledge of quality management norms (ISO 9001…) would be a plus.
