Your responsibilities
1. Responsible for regular and ad-hoc finance reporting / analyses to controlling and accounting teams for Power/ Carbon activities, aiming at explaining developments and creating insight
2. Delivering accurate, timely and relevant information and related analysis for the reportable activities
3. Responsible for coordinating the implementation of new energy products into our IT landscape from a reporting perspective
4. Proactively identifying and resolving issues that may impact timelines and/or deliverables
5. Identifying lessons learned and opportunities for improvement
6. Presenting findings and recommendations to senior management and other key stakeholders
7. Passionate about and actively improving data flows via automation, AI, or any other feasible way
8. Taking full ownership for all the above
Your profile
9. University education in the areas of Computer Science/Business Administration/ Economics/Finance/ Engineering (or comparable)
10. Relevant working experience, ideally in IT, financial reporting and analysis, energy markets and trading
11. Keen interest in new products, commodities and trends in the energy markets
12. Structured, target- and solution-oriented approach with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, at times under time pressure
13. Proficient in or eager to learn and carry out automation initiatives
14. Being able and enjoy working both autonomously and within a team
15. Excellent communication skills, high degree of assertiveness, stress-
16. Drive to proactively take ownership of initiatives and projects
17. Relevant experience in project lead & management and stakeholder management
18. Proficient knowledge in MS Office skills (Excel is a must), and ideally in SQL and PowerBI
19. Fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of additional languages would be a plus
