As a client engagement manager, you will be responsible for identifying and building new business. You will be expected to reframe the client’s thinking and build consensus for Microchip’s solutions, co-creating value by delivering clients the freedom to innovate.

1. Partner with automotive clients and offer Microchip’s unique successful business perspectives and technology available in our solutions
2. Follow the latest market trends in the industry and identify new fields of play within to engage with the new clients
3. Create valid business reasons to engage with new sales leads in early sales funnel stages
4. Use creative approaches for new client engagements and problem-solving activities
5. Identify the key client stakeholders and coach them through Microchip’s solutions whilst supporting them within their organization
6. Manage and grow strategic client accounts
7. Contribute and participate within a global team environment, to successfully develop and implement sales strategies across client’s divisions and geographical locations
8. Communicate effectively with Microchip product divisions providing quantifiable feedback and ROI for their investments in clients

Requirements/Qualifications:
9. Strong understanding and background in Automotive Industry with track record in the OEM/Tier1 environment
10. Good understanding of Automotive market dynamics and long term industry experience
11. Ability to communicate with confidence into C-Level and Top Management contacts
12. Good understanding of embedded electronic system solutions and ability to engage with Research and Development teams
13. Ability to create market specific analysis and map these with Microchip solutions.
14. Understanding Microchips technological capabilities and resources with the ability to translate those into our client’s business and system requirements.
Qualifications And Experience
15. Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in a business and/or engineering discipline with a strong academic track record
16. 5+ years of relevant work experience
17. Business fluent language skills in German and English
18. Relevant automotive market knowledge and industry experience
