As part of the Portfolio Management and Contract Manufacturing Operations team in the Business Unit MedTech this position will play a critical role in defining future strategies by providing in-depth market insights, competitive analysis and portfolio management. Your Assignments: Establish a resilient market intelligence process for the Business Unit MedTech involving all relevant stakeholders and owning the process going forward Responsible for gathering, reviewing, and analyzing market data for all product groups and regions and representing the single point of contact for market intelligence within the Business Unit Build up a profound understanding of the overall markets in terms of sizes, development, competition, etc. This also includes identifying trends and challenging anomalies in complex data piles as well as maintaining documentation and transparency of market data assumptions Manage ongoing reports and prepare ad hoc requests, e.g. for top management Aside of market intelligence another responsibility is to support the teams by performing data-driven analysis, e.g. for new product launches or projects This can include preparing business cases and defining key performance indicators (KPIs) with the goal to assess the overall effectiveness and identify options for improvement and, hence, playing a crucial role influencing key strategies, process improvement and operational decisions Support the ongoing portfolio lifecycle management analysis to ensure positive financial impact and optimal profitability e.g. during product phase outs or with price increases Establish KPIs to monitor profitability and suggest and align phase outs of products where necessary Challenging existing business cases and ensuring data accuracy and integrity across the teams overall representing a sparring partner for quantitative matters where needed Your Profile: Bachelor’s degree in a finance, business, economics or other related field required. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience as business analyst, in market intelligence, finance or a similar role Creative problem-solving skills and analytical thinking Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (especially in Excel and Power Point) is a must, knowledge in other reporting or visualization tools is a plus Experience in the healthcare industry is an advantage Mindesteingruppierung/Minimum Grading: E10 (K)
