**Job Title: Professor of Business English**
**Job Summary:** We seek a Professor of Business English to teach and conduct research in a dynamic and international environment, with a focus on academic teaching and practice-oriented research.
**Responsibilities:**
* Teach application-oriented modules in Business English, Academic English, Intercultural Communication, Soft Skill Training, and related fields to international students
* Coordinate lecturers in English, Soft Skills, and Technical English modules
* Develop a language center and contribute to the development of curricula and research in Business English fields
* Support students in their preparation for studying abroad/international work experience
* Establish and maintain international contacts
* Conduct on-campus and online courses on Saturdays, with compensation for Saturday work on another day of the week
* Create teaching materials for self-study
**Competencies:**
* Scientifically sound and practice-oriented
* Above-average university degree in economics/international business or comparable field, combined with relevant practical experience
* Outstanding doctoral degree in a related field, preferably at the interface of the vacant profile
* Relevant experience in teaching Business English in higher education, with experience in developing curricula and teaching material
* Excellent didactic skills, especially regarding eLearning and modern teaching concepts
* Demonstrated English language proficiency at a native level
* German language skills at a native level
* Teaching competence and pedagogical aptitude
**Desirable:**
* Teaching experience in internationally recognized Business English certification
