The Role: Regional Sales Manager - DACH, Benelux & Denmark
Location: Germany (Remote)
This pivotal role will drive the growth of F&B Ingredient Solutions across the DACH, Benelux & Denmark regions. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and exceeding revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute regional sales strategies across all sales channels (food manufacturers, QSR, HoReCa & private label).
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retailers in the region.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (product development, technical sales, supply chain, operations, and marketing) to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
* Lead negotiations with customers to secure favourable contracts and pricing.
* Prepare and track sales forecasts, budgets, and action plans to ensure achievement of regional sales targets.
* Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market innovations.
* Manage and develop a high-performing team (if applicable).
* Represent the company at industry events and trade shows to build brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.
* Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Key Qualifications:
* Proven track record in sales leadership within the food ingredients sector for 5+ years.
* Deep understanding of the DACH, Benelux & Denmark food and beverage markets.
* Strong network of contacts within the region.
* Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Results-oriented with a proven ability to exceed sales targets.
* Adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Proficient in English. Fluency in other European languages (e.g., German, Dutch, French) is a plus.
* Willingness to travel extensively within the region (30-40%).
