SciNova are exclusively partnered with a international Biotech start-up HQ'd in Germany who are pioneering industry-leading advancements in DNA / RNA extraction technology. Our client is searching for scientific-minded yet commercially driven professional who thrives in working in multi-cultural, fast-faced environments where no two days are the same. This is a multi-faceted position where you will be responsible for driving new business development, running global marketing campaigns and offer technical support to their ever growing customer base.
Role responsibilities:
* Develop, implement and execute a multitude of different sales and marketing strategies, targeting a global customer base.
* Support the sales team in lead generation activities and actively participate in winning + closing new business.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, product development, regulatory affairs) to align marketing initiatives with core company objectives.
* Create compelling marketing materials, including presentations, brochures, website content, and social media campaigns.
* Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to adapt and refine strategies.
* Analyse sales data, track KPIs, and report on performance to direct leadership.
* Manage and oversee the execution of trade shows, conferences, webinars, and other industry events.
* Offer dedicated technical support to an international customer base.
Role requirements:
* MSc or PhD in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or Biochemistry is highly preferred.
* Minimum of 4 years’ experience if PhD educated and 6 if a Masters graduate in a commercial position (BD/Application Specialist/Marketing/Product Management etc.).
* Proficient in an array of molecular techniques (PCR / qPCR).
* Familiar with DNA / RNA extraction activities.
* Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to travel internationally.
* Fluent English and Business Proficient German (French is a plus).
