Then we will look forward to meeting you Your responsibilities Act as key interface on all financial matters related to Uniperâs German Hydro business including managing director and supervisory board member roles in participations Sparring partner to Business line manager and top executive management with regards to financial governance & performance management Provide holistic view and transparency on financial performance as well as underlying operational performance drivers Define and follow up on short- and long-term financial targets for Uniperâs Hydro Power Fleet in Germany with its nearly 2000 MW of installed capacity as well as its shareholdings Active member of the top management team for Hydro Germany Responsible and Accountable for all controlling processes like Mid-term plan, forecasting, impairment testing, reporting, evaluations for the large asset area as well as ensure smooth interfaces between the business and other finance functions within Uniper Support process for performance reviews, drive value improvements and within that context actively challenge business to reach financial targets Support process for management decision on projects and contracts (Strategic Decisions / Financial Decisions) as well as driving a regular challenge process for financial project viability including update of planning assumptions Accountable for execution and optimization of cost-based power contracts with internal and external customers Manage and develop the Business Controlling Hydro Germany team (6 direct reports) and drive for best practices within the wider Business Controlling area across business lines Board member in Uniperâs German Hydro power companies Rhein-Main-Donau GmbH (RMD) and Untere Iller GmbH incl. supervisory board mandates in RMD subsidiaries Continuous stakeholder management with political and authority representatives as well as local stakeholders like land owners or fishermen Your profile University degree in Business Administration/Economics or similar Several years of experience and in-depth familiarity with various financial functions Proven leadership skills/managerial experience not only in a functional set up, but also in legal managerial roles in companies and joint ventures with exposure to authorities as well as joint venture partners Experience in the energy business and thorough understanding of energy environment Ability to build/develop high performance teams and to motivate individuals and a team Strong analytical skills and analytical mindset paired with commercial awareness Team player and willingness to drive performance & change Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate at a high level High level of integrity and reliability Brave to challenge status quo and recommend changes beyond the own area of responsibility Fluent in German Your benefits At Uniper, we not only reward our employees with attractive salaries, an excellent company pension and health related benefits for their hard work and dedication to shaping the future energy transition.
