The Opportunity
This position works out of our Wiesbaden location in the Abbott Diabetes Care - Abbott GmbH. We’re focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.
Your Tasks:
1. Coordinate business planning cycles’ consolidation for EMEAP, LATAM and APAC
2. Prepare IBP/LBE Deck and other deliverables for International markets
3. Prepare and follow up IBP minutes for International Markets and support countries/regions on their commercial priority requests
4. Be the point of contact for Global, regions and affiliates on business planning cycles’ deliverables, establish alignment and collaboration between EMEAP, LATAM and APAC
5. Follow up and support commercial priorities/requests with relevant stakeholders between Global, regions and affiliates
6. Provide appropriate strategic recommendations that improves effectiveness of our core business planning processes and create synergies in between regions
7. Establish strong communication within Area, Global and Affiliates to drive best practices on core business planning processes
8. Understand major strategies for the Area and Affiliates, serve as a link between International Markets, Global and Affiliates
9. Collaborate with Finance, commercial and other relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration with the financial forecasting processes
10. Proactively identify, develop and lead rollout of new tools, systems and processes to simplify and improve commercial effectiveness and analytics
Your Qualification:
11. Graduate university level education – preferably in business/scientific-related disciplines. Master’s degree is a plus
12. Previous Integrated Business Planning/project management or consulting experience is a plus
13. Min 5 years of previous experience, preferably within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry
14. Strong analytical skills: ability to analyze data from a wide range of internal and external sources and translate these into powerful insights
15. Strong ability to build relationships and work in a team to establish trust and exercise influence with internal clients and other key stakeholders
16. Can manage upstream and downstream with equal confidence through very good interpersonal communication skills
17. Capability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment to deliver on communicated timelines and objectives
18. Fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of a second language is desirable
