This is a chance to work closely with the Head of. Morgan SE (JPMSE) Outsourcing, Operations, and Technology and their Leadership Team to deliver outstanding Business Management support across business updates, project management and data analysis.
As a Finance & Business Manager within the Securities Services Operations team you will be responsible for delivering Operations business management services across a range of responsibilities, including strategy tracking and execution, business planning and performance monitoring. You will translate Executive ideas into a compelling storyboard by writing clear and succinct presentations to ensure Operations updates are easily understood by a range of stakeholders. You will be communicating business strategy, performance and priorities at key forums. business reviews, off sites; performing financial budgeting, reporting, forecasting and analysis, and distill and refine financial storytelling for business results. You will contribute to enhancing controls and streamlining processes, introducing automation where possible, and improving consistency and efficiency across processing and reporting to meet business needs.
Job responsibilities
1. Prepare and communicate business strategy, performance and priorities to key stakeholders
2. Develop and manage organisation communication strategies for key stakeholders
3. Deliver high quality executive presentations, reporting and analytics to support business decisions
4. Lead the budget management process to ensure optimal resource budgeting and allocations to achieve business priorities; oversee investment/productivity initiatives across the end-to-end business to achieve multi-year targets
5. Maintain robust cost controls and transparent reporting of financial performance
6. Analyze financial performance, including expenses; identify productivity initiatives and drive implementation
7. Create ad-hoc analysis and presentations for senior management, and help design new reports and to efficiently deliver the financial results to senior management
8. Own and lead the production of non-Financial key performance indicators and management information that aid business decisions
9. Harmonise with JPMSE Legal Entity partners in terms of consistent strategy, communications, and People Agenda
10. Partner with the relevant external service/ infrastructure providers
11. Represent the Business in respective internal/external working groups, promote Diversity and Inclusion initiatives
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
12. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, with significant relevant experience in financial services
13. Previous product knowledge and/or prior Financial Management, Business Management, or Chief Operating Office experience
14. Demonstrated governance and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
15. Excellent English writing, editing and presentation skills
16. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, including senior management
17. Strong analytical skills, ability to present new ideas in a compelling manner from financial data and create meaningful reports and proposals for senior management
18. Ability to multi-task and work autonomously within a local and global team environment
19. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with multiple assignments, stringent deadlines and changing priorities
20. Inquisitive, enthusiastic and diligent, and capable of challenging peers
21. Strong knowledge and understanding of Securities Services and Global Markets, and Payments Products, Operations, and Outsourcing
22. Strong proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook
