As an Intern / Working student (f/m/d) you become part of the team with your own set of tasks and responsibilities, of course under the guidance of a team member.
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) area within the CIO/COO division of Deutsche Boerse is responsible for leading the company’s technology strategy, infrastructure, and innovation efforts. The CTO ensures the security, reliability, and scalability of IT systems and networks, aligning technology initiatives with business goals.
As an Intern / Working student within the CTO area, you will have the opportunity to work in one of the digital transformation projects of the company, experience the implementation of modern technologies
first-hand and gain valuable practical experience in an innovative company. You will be a part of the project management office and support in a wide range of activities.
Your responsibilities:
* You create and maintain project templates to support project efficiency and documentation accuracy
* You manage the mailbox and calendar, organize and coordinate meetings, maintain meeting rooms
* You address and resolve daily problems and inquiries from project teams to ease the flow of information thereby creating supportive environment
* You support project in effective communication and timely responsiveness, seamless onboarding and offboarding processes for project staff and consultants
* You manage access cards, accounts, and licenses for project personnel. Oversee visitor registration for the office, ensuring security protocols and a welcoming experience
* You ensure consistent updates from the team for weekly project status, including sending reminders as required to stakeholders. Enhance project status reporting by improving data quality, analysis, and presentation for informed decision-making and effective project monitoring
* You support project in maintaining SharePoint user permissions, tracking project progress, milestones, and risks. Establish and maintain project documentation for organized and accessible records
Your profile:
* You are enrolled in an academic program recognized by the state during your working period, preferably in Business Administration, Technology Management, Project Management, or comparable
* You have the ability to work well in a team environment, supporting project managers and team members. You have a strong written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction and documentation. You are willing to learn and adapt to new tools, processes, and project requirements
* You are quick in picking up and processing new information. You are reliable and able to work independently. You are well organised and can handle multiple topics at any given time
* Moreover, you have very good knowledge in the entire MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). If you have additional technical and IT skills – great. And if you’ve some experience with project management, even better
* It would be a plus to have first practical work experience via internships, part-time or student jobs, experience abroad, or active social service engagements. But that’s not a must
* In addition, you are proficient in English. A good knowledge of German would be beneficial
