Clients often do not have a fully fleshed out product concept or design when conducting Painted Door Tests (Pretotyping) with us. That’s where you are needed We are looking for a designer with a strong sense for converting interfaces to create all required assets for research projects of our clients. You will be designing customer journeys, brand assets, ad creatives and consumer facing landing pages for the Painted Door Tests of our enterprise clients that work with our research consulting team. Our clients include large consumer companies such as BSH, Hansgrohe, Babbel, ALH Gruppe and more. Continue to grow your design expertise by working with key stakeholders and contributing to high-impact projects at leading consumer companies. WHAT YOU’LL ROCK Research Project Work (90%) Brand design - create desirable brand assets from logo, to colour themes, to typography for the idea to be tested Product mockups - design product images and mockups according to the given MVP brand or client inputs for different testing variants Ad creatives - create 2D and 3D ad assets reflective of each testing variant. These ads communicate the value proposition of the product and are used to attract the target audience to the landing pages via social or search ads. Landing pages - design and technically implement landing pages using the Horizon interface or external landing page editors (e.g. Unbounce) that integrate with our tool based on industry-specific templates, and optimise these templates over time. Define the storyline of each page including a first draft of the product description copy that your teammate aka research consultant can finalise. Communication & design advocacy - as part of our client services & research consulting team, you occasionally take part in client meetings and provide design leadership around the product idea to be tested. Your work will steer all parts of the landing page test: ads, landing pages, brand design, digital customer journeys. Internal (10%) Standardisation & process improvements - contributing to process improvements by helping with standardisation and learning how to build research projects with enterprise clients. Building resources - drive the development of Horizon’s own brand assets by providing your design genius for pitches, presentations and our website. WHAT YOU’LL BRING ALONG A general interest in consumer-centric design, market research and data-driven product development approaches Applied knowledge in design-related areas such as brand design, product mockups, or creating marketing ads. Strong communication skills - you communicate in a clear and easy-to-understand way, respectful to your teammates even in high-speed and challenging client projects Visual and typographical intuition - you know what captures digital audience attention and how to do it Attention to detail, delivering high-quality and reliable output even in complex and fast-paced projects Familiarity with basic design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Suite) is preferred, as well as genuine interest and understanding for HTML5 and CSS3 are required. Fluency in German and English: Native-level German proficiency and near-native English fluency. Results-Oriented Mindset: A hypothesis-based work approach focusing on achieving results with your client accounts.
