Reporting to the AML/KYC Operations Manager (UK), this new role for Raisin UK will be responsible for working within the 1st Line AML/KYC Team. You will be responsible for protecting the business against the threat of financial crime by supporting the AML/KYC Operations Manager in carrying out AML checks, monitoring and screening of Raisin UK’s customers.
Your Responsibilities
* Investigate PEP, sanction, and adverse media alerts on behalf of the business. Make recommendations on actions to be undertaken including enhanced due diligence checks.
* Review new business applications daily against databases.
* Conduct Transaction Monitoring reviews to identify suspicious activity.
* Maintain a good level of knowledge on financial crime prevention policies and processes.
* Contribute to the overall continuous improvement and development of the AML/KYC Operations Team.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements relating to, but not limited to, financial crime and investigation procedures.
Your Profile
* Currently enrolled in a Law/Business degree programme.
* Good analytical and problem solving skills.
* Familiarity with compliance procedures.
* Ability to work independently.
* Strong time management skills.
* Ability to work under pressure.
