European Sales and Business Development Director

This is an opportunity to launch the company’s products and shape the company’s future in the European Market. Our client is an innovative, forward-thinking company in the food technology sector.
With a focus on developing a groundbreaking solution, protected by patents, that enable Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) clients, save substantial cooking costs, whilst reducing environmental pollution and lowering their carbon footprint. Following success in North America, Israel and recently Asia markets, they are seeking to recruit a European Sales and Business Development Director, with a proven track record in the QSR sector, to launch their presence in the European market.
Role:
Reporting to the CEO and be an integral part of the Senior Management team, this person will lead all European sales efforts, while supporting or leading the broader international sales activities as needed. Being responsible for developing and executing a clearly defined sales strategy in partnership with the CEO & Strategic Advisor, in a manner that supports consistent business growth and enhances the companies brand awareness. The senior Management team is international, so there will be calls at non-standard work hours as needed.
Responsibilities Include:
* Monitor, analyse and reports on sales and marketing activity against company goals within the European Markets.
* Develops sales and marketing strategic business plans to drive revenue and develop market share.
* Manage the vision and strategy and provide purpose, motivation, and direct to the QSR sales manage the team as it grows.
* Assess market potential and identifies new business opportunities and synergies.
* Execute best practices in sales and marketing standards.
* Develop and maintain the overall revenue growth plan and model.
* Implement national revenue generating strategic initiatives while ensuring accuracy of sales forecasting, maintaining key customer relationships.
* Develop and implement strategies for expanding the Company's customer
* Develop strategy, plan implementation and roll out Channel Sales strategies.
* Recruit and develop the European team as required.
* Actively partake in the company’s management strategies and development.
Our ideal Candidate attributes:
* Minimum 10 years of experience in the QSR industry.
* Expertise in sales and business development, particularly within the QSR industry.
* Degree educated or equivalent work experience in the industry required.
* Experience accurately forecasting short-term & long-term sales.
* Demonstrated the ability to work with a diverse set of business unit leaders, including but not limited to executive leadership within sales & operations, and all other stakeholders.
* Strong written & oral communication skills and ability to effectively present to audiences.
* Strong finance acumen with ability to understand operating budgets and finance.
* Ability to perform well under pressure and against tight deadlines.
* Proven experience in developing and implementing Channel Management programs.
* Experience of dealing with franchise agreements and franchisees in the QRS sector.
* Excellent English language (written and oral) and other European Language abilities.
