What do you contribute?
At our Siemens Mobility site in Erlangen, we develop the software for our Vectron locomotives.
1. As a Technical Manager (f/m/d), you will coordinate the engineering groups specialising in vehicle control and ensure that further developments and changes to the software for our locomotives are optimally implemented in terms of quality, deadlines and processes.
2. You will act within the structured framework of the customer-neutral product development and roadmap of the Vectron platform.
3. One of your main tasks will be to receive customer-specific feedback, address and clarify it and feed the results back to customers.
4. Furthermore, you prepare the requirements (e.g. market, customer, approval requirements) in such a way that they can then be successfully implemented by our project engineers.
5. You coordinate our project engineers and ensure that the process is adhered to.
6. For new equipment packages to be developed or modified for our locomotives, you coordinate, drive and supervise software development and ensure synchronization with the hardware and compatibility with the platform.
7. In addition, you will work closely with your interface partners (e.g. engineering, project management, internal approval).
8. You will present the results of your work both internally and externally (e.g. to project management and to customers).
What do you bring along?
9. The foundation of your success is a successfully completed technical degree (e.g. electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering).
10. You have experience in sub-project management/project management
11. In addition, you have many years of professional experience in the field of software in the rail vehicle industry (e.g. as a software developer (f/m/d), technical sub-project manager (f/m/d)).
12. You recognize technical interrelationships and enjoy providing structured support for creative processes.
13. Thanks to your excellent teamwork and communication skills, you have already been able to work confidently in complex matrix structures.
14. We look forward to receiving your application if you are fluent in German and have a good command of English and are willing to travel throughout Europe (approx. 20%).
