For our HPS (Honeywell Process Solutions) Systems division as the branch sales leader for both Northern and Southern Germany (Germany home office) we are looking for a
Branch Sales Leader
The position is responsible for the continuity, development, promotion and growth of the HPS Systems business. To lead and motivate the DACH sales organization to achieve the maximum sales deliver profitable growth and strategic objectives in line with Honeywell's vision. Create and develop branch plans and sales strategies with our customer base. A key part of the role is to identify growth strategies that will expand our customer base into new industries employing an enterprise mindset that will ensure the One Honeywell brand is optimized throughout all touch points both internally and externally. The DACH sales team will report to this role along with the Southern Germany Sales Manager.
The position reports to the Senior Sales Leader of the Northern Europe / DACH Region and is classified as a Job Band 4 (Senior Manager).
Main Tasks:
* You are responsible for the sales (AOP) and the development of all sales activities in the assigned branch.
* You will be a key member representing the DACH sales function in the High Growth Country forum and will contribute to the strategies ensuring year on year growth in core markets and identifying new markets.
* You will coordinate the sales team and support secure growth for HPS-Systems and for all Honeywell available solutions.
* You will coordinate activities with other functions (Lines Of Business, Finance, HR, HSE, Legal, Project Development teams, Logistics, solution offering).
* You will use the internal processes and implement them accordingly and use the sales tools offered (SFDC, LEAP, Concur).
* You will be the initial escalation point for customer related sales issues and will evaluate potential obstacles and implement solutions.
* You will deploy the necessary resources to successfully develop the sales initiatives and help the vertical and horizontal sales teams to cross political and organizational boundaries.
* Coach your team to deepen and expand relationships with customers and support local sales strategies.
* You will maintain direct relationships with executives of EPC's and directly with customers driving C Suite engagement to ensure Honeywell are well positioned to partner with key customers on strategic plans with future initiatives such as sustainability, Net Zero, Smart Factory and more.
Your Profile:
* Completed engineering studies or a comparable qualification.
* At least 7 – 10 years of sales experience for industrial customers in the process industry.
* Strong people management skills are required and it is advantageous if your line management skills have been gained directly managing sales teams.
* Customer Engagement at higher levels, building long-term strategic relationships at C Suite and all levels of management.
* You will have an enterprise mindset enabling the ability to coach teams to cross sell and consultative sell - experience of working across both the customer organization and your own organization is also key.
* Knowledge of customer decision-making processes, buyers, negotiation and influencing skills.
* You will be able to demonstrate experience of setting a clear vision that identifies future trends.
* You will need to be a quick learner and independent thinker for a flexible, demand-orientated approach.
* Fluency in German and English is a prerequisite.
* Willingness to travel both in country and when required, internationally (approx. 30 -50%).
