We are now looking for a
Working Student in BU Offshore Wind
to work within the Generation Controlling team located in Hamburg.
The role will primarily be working with more senior controller on topics for the German windfarms. You will be providing support to the Controller and also working with colleagues from O&M.
As part of the Offshore controlling team you will have your direct team colleagues in Amsterdam (NL), Hamburg (GE), Berlin (GE), Kolding (DK) and London (UK).
Responsibilities & Tasks
The following main tasks are in the expected responsibility of the working student in the BU Offshore of BA Wind:
* Supporting Business Controller in preparing and analyzing monthly results and forecasts for the German offshore windfarms;
* Preparing cost accruals as part of month end processes
* Work with financial master data, requesting new objects and keeping the data up to date
* Basic account reconciliations in conjunction with Accounting colleagues;
* Financial administration for revenue and cost billing on German offshore windfarms;
* Supporting operational staff with finance support;
* Support in ad hoc analysis and developing of new or improvement of existing reports as needed;
* Ad-hoc tasks on an individual basis as well as with the other team members.

Qualifications
Your profile
* Enrolled Bachelor student (at least 12 months in) with a focus on business administration
* Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office
* Interested in renewable energy sector, especially offshore wind power
* Understanding and feeling for finance figures
* Strong levels of numeracy and IT skills (previous experience with SAP and/or PBI a plus)
* Organized and reliable
* Strong team player, willingness to help others out and deliver against deadlines;
* Ability to work independently with a hands-on and pragmatic mind set.
* Good communication skills both verbally and in writing – in both German and English
* Interest in working in a committed and international team
* Ideally already gained some practical experience in the field of renewable energy

* Start date: immediately
* Working period: 12 months with the possibility to extend (no planned semester/ exchange abroad during this time period)
* Working hours: max. 20 hours a week; up to 37 hours a week during semester break
* Flexible working hours and hybrid work model (Office + Home Office)
