DB SCHENKER is filling the position of a Communication Manager Logistics with a focus on external communications (f/m/d). In this position you will create content and manage activities centered in, but not limited to, the field of external communications. You will work within a small team of experts in the Global Team Content & Internal Communications, creating and distributing a constant stream of appealing content via social media and other channels such as blogs and the corporate website. You will report to the Global Head of Content and Internal Communications. Through your activities you will contribute significantly to the corporate success of the global DB SCHENKER brand and campaigns in common mission with other teams of the global MarCom team. Locations: Essen, Frankfurt, Hamburg Main Responsibilities:
1. Production of short videos to underline the communication topics
2. Support video productions in the DB SCHENKER owned studio
3. Collaborate with and steer external service providers such as editors, videographers etc.
4. Manage and evolve existing editorial formats across a wide range of media
5. Ensure the production and distribution of compelling storytelling which convey the core messages of our brand and of our products and services, contributing to ongoing strategic messaging with Business and Functional Units as well as regions and clusters
6. Research, implementation and coordination of the communication topics, facts and figures that illustrate the core messages of DB SCHENKER and form the basis for the storytelling, in close cooperation with the Marketing & Communications teams from the regions and clusters as well as the business and functional units.
Requirements
Personal Qualities, Skills and Experience in Detail:
7. Fluency in English is a must, German and/or additional European languages are desirable
8. Strategic, conceptual and problem-solving skills, a well-structured approach, complemented by strong business and entrepreneurial thinking; competence in self-organization, personal responsibility and critical thinking, paired with strong copywriting skills
9. Experienced in project management, as well as managing and influencing matrix structures and interfaces, as well as freelancers and external agencies, to increase efficiency and effectiveness
10. Hands-on experience with basic productions steps of video-related content (basic video shooting skills, basic editing, posting, basic technical background to support studio productions)
11. Excellent feeling for language in general, for corporate multimedia storytelling and Social Media in a B2B context
12. Excellent copywriting, editing and journalistic skills in English and preferably German
