Payroll Processing: Liaise with internal stakeholders to verify, collect, and organize payroll data before submitting to payroll providers for Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, and Austria potentially further markets in the future. Verify payroll data including hours worked, deductions, bonuses, and other earnings. Review and ensure the accuracy of working time entries and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with local payroll tax and social security regulations. Maintain up to date knowledge of changes in payroll and tax laws. Calculate vacation accruals every month for all payroll countries managed. Manage data collection of monthly personnel costs and review the data for accuracy and completeness. Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate payroll records and employee files. Prepare and distribute payroll reports and summaries for the leadership and other stakeholders. Handle inquiries and resolve issues related to payroll, including employee questions and concerns. System Maintenance and Improvement: Assist in the maintenance of payroll data in Workday. Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the wider People & Culture team, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless payroll processing and integration. Provide support during audits and assist in the preparation of audit materials. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor''s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 4 years of experience in payroll processing or a similar role. Proficiency in both German and English language is needed. Proficiency with Workday and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Good understanding of payroll tax and social security regulation. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
