(Senior) Manager VIP & Influencer (m/f/d)
A full-time position at our HQ in Hamburg starting 1st May - for a fixed period of 16 months
"Montblanc, renowned for its luxury writing instruments, watches, and accessories, is seeking an experienced Senior VIP & Influencer Manager to uphold and enhance our global VIP and influencer strategies during the incumbent’s maternity leave. In this temporary role, you will be responsible for managing high-profile relationships, orchestrating logistics for appearances, handling contract negotiations, delivering impactful campaigns, and ensuring brand consistency and excellence in all VIP and influencer marketing endeavors." 1) in Short-Term Strategic Planning
1. Oversee and implement Montblanc’s established VIP and influencer marketing strategies, adapting as necessary to meet evolving business needs.
2. Maintain momentum on existing programs and recommend adjustments to improve effectiveness during the contract period
2) in VIP & Influencer Relationship Management
3. Continue nurturing relationships with key VIPs, celebrities, and influencers, including communication with agents and talent managers.
4. Lead contract negotiations with talent representatives, ensuring fair and beneficial partnership terms that align with budget and objectives.
5. Evaluate ongoing partnerships to ensure deliverables align with brand objectives, renegotiating contract terms where necessary.
6. Manage day-to-day communications, ensuring smooth relationship continuity during the maternity cover period.
3) in Campaign Execution & Coordination
7. Lead the rollout of existing campaign plans, ensuring alignment with Montblanc’s brand guidelines and overall marketing objectives.
8. Work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams (PR, Marketing, Retail, E-commerce, Events) to ensure seamless campaign integration.
9. Oversee content creation schedules, budgets, and approvals to maintain high-quality outputs.
4) in Event Management & VIP Handling
10. Coordinate all logistics for VIP appearances incl. travel, accommodation, on-site arrangements, glam and meeting schedules.
11. Collaborate with the Events team to deliver luxury experiences that reflect Montblanc’s heritage and craftsmanship.
5) in Licensing & Third Party Coordination
12. Manage relationships with third-party licensing partners who also engage influencer, ensuring alignment with Montblanc’s brand standards and strategic objectives.
6) in Performance Tracking & Reporting
13. Monitor and measure influencer and VIP campaign performance, focusing on key metrics such as engagement, reach, and ROI.
14. Provide concise, data-driven updates to senior leadership, highlighting successes, lessons learned, and any recommendations for improvement.
6) in Team Support & Collaboration
15. Guide a small team or collaborate with specialized roles supporting VIP & influencer activities, offering coaching, feedback, and day-to-day oversight.
16. Ensure continuity of processes and knowledge transfer, maintaining consistent operations until the permanent role holder returns.
You’ll have …
17. a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
18. 5+ years in VIP relations, influencer marketing, or similar fields, preferably within luxury, fashion, or lifestyle sectors.
19. proven track record of leading high-profile partnerships, contract negotiations with agents and campaigns.
20. familiarity with the luxury market and Montblanc’s product lines; an existing network of relevant celebrity and influencer contacts is advantageous.
21. the ability to adapt quickly to a fixed-term position, picking up established strategies and seamlessly integrating with ongoing projects.
22. demonstrated skills in securing favorable terms with agents and talent managers
23. the ability to seamlessly manage VIP travel, accommodation and event schedules.
24. exceptional interpersonal skills to manage existing VIP and influencer relationships effectively.
25. the ability to handle simultaneous campaigns and events, meeting tight deadlines with precision.
26. the skills to interpret campaign data to drive ongoing improvements and inform stakeholders.
27. outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills; able to represent Montblanc convincingly at a senior level.
28. the capability of overseeing and motivating team members, offering guidance and structure during the transition period.
29. the ability to learn quickly, to take on responsibilities and maintain established momentum within a short timeframe.
