Description Within an agile team, the role supports the ambition of the ID to service new and existing L&H clients in Central Europe (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands) and BeLux. A key focus of the role will be the underwriting of large and complex cases in line with SCOR’s standards and the service standards agreed with the clients. Beyond that the role supports SCOR’s underwriting services generally with specific client enquiries and research. Responsibilities Support SCOR’s clients with a high-quality underwriting for large and complex cases Cooperate with the Global Underwriting Team keeping our own UW Manual "SOLEM" up-to-date Ensure our own business is written in accordance with our business strategy Attend industry functions representing SCOR L&H Ensure efficiency of the underwriting process through provision of appropriate management information Being the interface to SCOR’s external medical advisors Work hand in hand with the wider International Desk team to develop and support the team’s ambition and client strategy. Qualifications Essential: A minimum of 5 years underwriting experience with meaningful authority to load, postpone and decline all classes of business. Excellent technical underwriting knowledge. Life & Health Insurance market and product knowledge German language skills considered beneficial Education: Degree in Medicine or equivalent degree with a medical focus Why Join Us?
