THE ROLE & THE TEAM The ZEOS Logistics department is responsible for all partner-facing Zalando Logistics Solutions. By uniting these services under a single umbrella, we provide a more holistic approach to deliver the optimal fulfilment solution to meet our partners' needs, and leverage common services to enable partner program growth. As the Operational Merchant Performance Manager at Zalando (Zeos), you will be accountable for optimizing operational efficiency, reducing costs, promoting education, and ensuring a positive partner experience. You will strategically set direction and goals, oversee stock control and KPI monitoring, and drive operational improvements of our merchants. Your role involves project management, communication, and stakeholder management, ensuring alignment and successful delivery of projects. Additionally, you will be a strategic sparring partner for your partners, supporting and guiding them to optimize operational performance within our ecosystem. Divided into sub-teams focusing on pre-delivery, in-house operations, outbound processes, and overarching projects, we prioritize operational excellence and strong partnerships. Monitor and evaluate key performance metrics in areas like inbound forecasting, shipping notice accuracy, and inventory turnover. Initiate and implement strategies aimed at boosting efficiency, cutting costs, and enhancing overall performance. Formulating Long-Term Strategies : Collaborate with your commercial counterparts to craft and implement long-term plans for your business segment. Leverage your analytical skills and business insights to pinpoint opportunities for growth and improvement. Establish and track operational KPIs for our merchants, ensuring they align with evolving business conditions and company goals. Driving Continuous Improvement: Engage regularly with underperforming partners to identify operational challenges and facilitate their improvement journeys. Cultivate a collaborative atmosphere that encourages shared growth and long-lasting success. Enhancing Partner Experience: Refine stock management processes and operational workflows to directly support merchant success. Conduct in-depth analyses of merchant performance and provide proactive assistance to those facing difficulties, ensuring alignment with Zeos Logistics standards. Improving Internal Processes and Reporting: Drive initiatives focused on refining internal processes and reporting mechanisms, making the business more scalable and efficient. WHY YOU SHOULD BE INTERESTED You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a partner management role. You have proven experience in operations and/or supply chain, with strong capabilities in operations performance management and steering. You have excellent English skills, both written and spoken, as English is the team’s primary language. You are proficient in Excel and Google Sheets; experience with SQL and MSTR is a plus.
