We are currently seeking an experienced a GTM Planning Manager EMEA to lead and oversee the entire Go-To-Market (GTM) planning chain for SAP Signavio and SAP LeanIX. This strategic role encompasses responsibility for our GTM Strategy process, headcount and budget planning, territory setting, account assignments, and quota management, as well as managing all in-year processes and change requests. This includes overseeing headcount budgets, non-headcount-related budgets (such as Marketing and Training), and ensuring that GTM strategies are executed efficiently and effectively across the organization.
The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of experience in strategy and operations, with a proven track record of managing high-performing teams. They will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in sales operations, planning, and change management, capable of guiding a diverse team to support the broader SAP Signavio and SAP LeanIX strategy.

WHAT IS WAITING FOR YOU?
* GTM Strategy & Planning: Lead and manage the end-to-end GTM planning process, including strategic alignment, headcount and budget planning, territory setting, account assignments, and quota allocation. Ensure all planning activities are aligned with the broader SAP Signavio strategy and business goals as well as with the overall SAP strategy.
* Team Leadership & Management: Oversee a team of GTM planning professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. Drive team performance by setting clear objectives, managing workloads, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
* Budget & Headcount Management: Manage the planning, allocation, and monitoring of headcount and non-headcount-related budgets (including Marketing and Training). Ensure optimal resource allocation to support GTM initiatives and business growth as well as compliant spent.
* Change Management & Continuous Improvement: Lead in-year change processes, including headcount adjustments and budget reallocations, ensuring that the organization remains agile and responsive to market dynamics. Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in planning processes.
* Stakeholder Engagement & Business Partnering: Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, including Sales Executives and other functional leaders. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support decision-making, align with business objectives, and drive operational excellence.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively across different teams, cultures, and management levels to foster collaboration and alignment. Ensure seamless execution of GTM strategies by working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other key stakeholders.
* Operational Excellence: Apply your expertise in sales operations, planning, forecasting, sales systems, methodologies, and quota management to drive operational efficiency. Ensure that best practices are consistently applied and that the team operates at the highest level of performance.
* Program Management: Oversee the execution of various operational programs, managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations. Ensure that programs are delivered on time and meet the strategic objectives of the organization.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required. An MBA is preferred.
* Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in strategy, operations, or related fields within the software or technology industry. Prior experience managing teams and leading strategic planning initiatives is essential.
* Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing teams. Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
* Sales Operations Expertise: In-depth knowledge of GTM planning, forecasting, sales operations, processes, methodologies, compensation, and quota management.
* Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, generate insights, and present actionable recommendations to senior leaders.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex information clearly and compellingly to diverse audiences, including senior executives.
* Adaptability & Agility: Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, adapt quickly to changing business needs, and work effectively under pressure.
* Global Experience: Experience working in a global, cross-cultural environment is preferred.
* Customer-Centric Approach: Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.
* Language Skills: Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
