We see great potential for further systematic growth in our markets! We are seeking a skilled and seasoned Manager or Director of Mergers & Acquisitions to join our team at our Munich headquarters. The ideal candidate has multiple years of relevant experience in M&A, with a proven record of successfully leading and executing complex M&A transactions.
In your new role you will:
* End-to-end execution of cross-border M&A projects (acquisitions, divestments or Joint Ventures) in close collaboration with our Divisions and our regional hubs
* Planning and execution of Due Diligence processes incl. the engagement of internal and external teams
* Leading of (sub-) teams on a global level, across divisions and corporate functions, including close interaction and coordination with external advisors (investment banks, consultants, auditors, lawyers, etc.)
* Preparing detailed financial models, valuation analysis, and other decision documents and present findings and recommendations to the Infineon Management Board
* Preparing and leading M&A negotiations and coordinate individual topics independently while ensuring the translation of Due Diligence findings into PMI-planning and negotiation
* Fostering Target Searches in alignment with our Strategic Action Fields supported by our divisions and regions
* Enabling an efficient integration planning process of acquired companies for a seamless and efficient integration of the acquired companies into the Infineon organization, systems and culture
* Actively shaping the development of our department's processes and methods
You commit yourself to the results of your team and the company as a whole. You anticipate even the future needs of our customers and engage actively with them. In your daily work you remain aware of the big picture even in complex situations. This allows you to take decisions in despite of uncertain circumstances. In the end it all comes down to the fact that you concentrate your creativity and knowledge on producing results with real added value for the customers and for Infineon.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
* An advanced university degree (legal, business administration, technical, etc.) showing advancement in academic achievement
* Long time relevant experience in the M&A/PMI environment of an investment bank, Big 4 or large corporate with sound technological focus (MBA is desirable)
* A minimum of 3 years history of achievements of independently leading cross-functional, global M&A (sub-) project teams consisting of divisional and central functions in a technology-oriented environment.
* Good in leading cross-functional, global project teams consisting of Divisional and Central Function top management
* Extensive know-how in financial modeling, valuation methods, due diligence, and M&A legal/tax implications and understanding of deal structuring and the capability to independently interpret and discuss analytical data
* Knowledge of semiconductor industry is a plus
* Strategic thinking with sound analytical skills and remarkable communication and interpersonal skills, with fluent English negotiation and presentation skills at board level; German would be an added plus.
